Our Arm Roast comes from the shoulder of the cow — a hardworking muscle that’s lean, richly flavorful, and perfect for slow-cooked meals. Raised 100% grass-fed and finished with no antibiotics, no hormones, and no grain, this roast reflects our commitment to uncompromising honesty and 100% pasture-based practices in North Texas.
Sometimes called a “shoulder roast,” the Arm Roast features a small round bone in the center (which adds flavor during cooking) and is ideal for pot roast, shredded beef, or a rustic Sunday dinner.

Do you currently use or plan to use mRNA vaccines?
At Big G’s, we do not use mRNA vaccines and have no plans to ever adopt them, either on our Indiana farm or at our trusted partner farms. We do allow for traditional vaccines only when necessary to prevent life-threatening illnesses, like Tetanus or Avian Flu. In every case, we ensure proper withdrawal times before harvesting. Our focus is on building strong, naturally resilient livestock to minimize the need for vaccines, always prioritizing holistic, preventive health practices.
Do you sell larger bundles of beef?
Yes, we sell beef by the 1/4, 1/2, and whole cow — and we deliver right to your door. Our 1/8 Beef Box is available year-round, while larger shares like 1/4 and 1/2 cows are offered seasonally, such as during our Winter Beef Sale in January and February.
Are you Certified Organic?
While our farm isn’t USDA-certified organic, we follow strict organic farming principles — and in many ways, we go beyond them. Our ruminant animals are 100% grass-fed with no grain or grain by-products, and we never use synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers.
Rather than paying for a costly organic label that would only drive up prices without adding real value, we choose radical transparency, allowing you to see for yourself how our standards create a product that’s better for you, the animals, and the land.
